1957 Corvette Custom

This 1957 Corvette takes design cues from the past and present.

A tired 1957 Corvette has come into the shop for a complete transformation into a new custom sporting body modifications, a new interior design and a new custom round tube chassis by SRIII located in New Lenox, Illinois. The engine is a crate Cadillac LSA V-8 with plenty of power (556 horses) to fry the tires off this lightweight creation. Going through the gears will be accomplished with a Tremec 6 speed transmission. The front and rear suspension is C5 meeting the road with 18″ wheels and BFG 245/15-18″ rubber up front and 255/45-18″ rubber on the rear. David Brost did the design work for this project and all phases of the project were done “in house”.
